Shoreline Wellness Behavioral Health Outreach (SWBHO) dba Shoreline Wellness Behavioral Health Clinic (Clinic)
Shoreline's Behavioral Health Clinic was officially opened in 2016 and today serves as a place for undergraduate and graduate students from varying universities to complete their internship experiences. Through our clinic, students are provided the opportunity to engage directly with our clients and gain experience as growing professionals. Our graduate-level interns are closely supervised by licensed clinicians to collaborate on patient goals and treatment planning. The clinic currently serves as a graduate student placement site for multiple universities, including but not limited to:
- Albertus Magnus College
- Arizona State University
- Northwestern University
- Quinnipiac University
- Simmons University
- Southern Connecticut State University
- Springfield College
- University of Bridgeport
- University of New Haven
- University Saint Joseph
- Post University
- Widener University
- Yale University

On January 7, 2022 our Clinic and our Outreach officially merged into 1 entity. All Clinic services will remain the same as before however, our Clinic is now
a 501(c)(3) non-profit company affiliated with Shoreline Wellness Center (SWC). SWBHO/Clinic was created to expand mental health outreach efforts and to bring about better awareness and more comprehensive mental health programs and services to the West Haven community and surrounding areas!
